Physician Bio

Dr. Prochnau graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from UNC-Charlotte in 1994 and then received her Doctor of Medicine degree from UNC School of Medicine in 1998.  She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Tennessee Knoxville Medical Center in 2001.  She is board certified in Internal Medicine.

Professional memberships include:  the North Carolina Medical Society, the American College of Physicians, and Healing Touch International.
